With the entry of these two new wives, the equilibrium of love and respect is disrupted, as both want more control and demand more respect, which leads to clashes and quarrels all round, and changes in the lives of all the inhabitants. Eventually, in the end, everyone lives happily together and Mohan and Gita get married.

Shri Bhramma is unhappy with Yamraj and his assistant, Chitragupt, as they have misplaced a book or prophecy called "Bhavishya Vani", and asks them to go down to Earth and find the book within 30 days or else they will lose their status in heaven and will be forced to live as mortals on Earth. The two descend to Earth, and find out that the book is in the possession of a man named Suraj, who is unwilling to give up the book as he has read the prophecy about his mother's dying. This refusal is catastrophic as Yamraj cannot plan anyone's death, and no one will be permitted to die unless and until the book comes in his possession. At the same time there is an evil man named Chota Ravan who is trying to possess the book in order to spread his control over Bombay.

Daredevil Circus trapeze artistes, Vijay and Radha, who also goes by the name of Lisa, are in love with each other. The circus is run by Radha's dad, G.D. Sapru. One day they decide to do another daredevil act without any safety net support to break their fall. As a result, Radha misses Vijay and falls down to the ground, is seriously wounded, and hospitalized. After she recovers, she is told that her face has been completely disfigured. She decides not to show her face to Vijay and goes abroad forever. Then Vijay is approached by a group of Hindu priests who want him to locate two statues of Bhagwan Shri Kishan and Devi Maa Radha through the treacherous and mountainous region between India and Burma. Vijay agrees to do so and accompanied by Mangu, Changu, Sandoz, they set out on their journey.

When Laali, who loves Shyamu, refuses to marry Kalidas, recommended by her aunt, her naive brother, Dhanna, and Bhabhi, Bhagwanti, are asked to leave and till a barren piece of land. Based in Mumbai, Raja (Arjun) lives a violent yet poor lifestyle along with his father, Banwarilal. Ravan comes in the guise of a hermit begging alms and makes Sita step over the Lakshman Rekha (line), Lakshman had drawn around their cottage for her safety, asking her not to step beyond it. After giving birth to Bhagwan Shri Kartiyeke, Devi Maa Parvati forms a child-human image from clay, adopts him, and asks him to guard the house and not let anyone in while she bathes. The child refuses to let anyone in, including Bhagwan Shivji himself, who beheads him. When a tearful Parvatiji pleads, Shivji brings the child back to life with the head of an elephant, and names him Gajanand, and assures him that no one will make fun of him.

Widowed Mrs. Lal lives with her two sons, Ram and Ratan; an unmarried daughter, Sheela; Ram's wife, Parvati and her children. While Ram is employed in a mill, Ratan is studying engineering in Calcutta. When Ratan returns, he is offered a job at the same mill, falls in love with a Typist named Manju, much to chagrin of Malti, the daughter of the mill-owner, Sewakram. When Ratan finds out that Sewakram has been defrauding the employees, he decides to form a union, a move that is opposed by Ram, who is very devoted and loyal to Sewakram.

Mahima lives a middle-class lifestyle with her parents, Pooja and music teacher,Gautam. She is in love with a young man, Anuraag, whose foster father, Pratap, is very friendly with Gautam. Then Anuraag is accused of stealing one Lakh rupees from the family's electronic showroom, he vehemently denies this, and even offers to leave for Bombay, earn the money and then return.

This movie deals with the later part of Ramayana written by Valmiki Maharshi and depicts the lives of the sons of Rama & Sita.

In this silent, surrealist fantasy, thick clouds in a scorched sky prevent the sun from reaching the earth. Only a group of children in this gray world have access to a source of light which is in the wintry woods. They collect it into small boxes that they use to revive people imprisoned in pictures. A young woman grieving for her lost lover goes in search of these children so that they can bring her beloved back to life.
