Container Wars is an American reality television series on TruTV that premiered in 2013. The show features the auctioneer John Kunkle, as well as buyers: Jason R. Hughes, the Israeli team consisting of Shlomi, Eyal & Uzi, the team of Ty & Mo, Deane Molle', and Matthew Gaus. Unlike any other auction show of its kind, “Container Wars”, takes auctions to an all-new level with big money, high stakes, and giant egos. Taking place at commercial shipping ports, the series centers on a group of experts from various backgrounds who spend tens of thousands to compete for the contents of high dollar shipping containers from around the world. With only minutes to assess the containers and decide whether to bid, the pressure mounts as they walk away with big wins or go home empty handed.

The figures in his dream match those in his real life, with his brother being an aggressive business man trying to buy James out, the king being James' advisor, and the woman being an actress recently cast for a commercial at his studio. Seeing his dreams as a message about his life, James decides to act on their guidance, even though they lead him into the fight of his life.

Pickwick is a British television musical made by the BBC in 1969 and based on the 1963 stage musical Pickwick, which in turn was based on the 1837 novel The Pickwick Papers written by Charles Dickens. It stars Harry Secombe as Samuel Pickwick and Roy Castle as Sam Weller. This television production was based on the stage musical Pickwick which had been a commercial success. It was adapted for the screen by James Gilbert and Jimmy Grafton. The musical had premiered in the West End in 1963, again with Harry Secombe in the lead role. Running at 90 minutes and made in colour, the TV musical again had lyrics by Leslie Bricusse and a score by Cyril Ornadel. The book was by Wolf Mankowitz and it was directed by Terry Hughes. The programme was first transmitted on 11 June 1969 and again on 26 December 1969. One of the better known songs from the score is "If I Ruled the World". The cast of this production differed somewhat from that of the stage musical.

Flog It! is a television series broadcast on the BBC, presented by Paul Martin. The show follows a similar formula to Antiques Roadshow, with members of the public bringing their antiques to be viewed and valued by a team of experts. However, unlike Antiques Roadshow, they are then given the option to sell their items at an auction. Typical episodes are 45 minutes in length, but thirty minute and hour long editions also exist. The thirty minute versions are typically hour long editions cut in half; hour-long editions have become less common in recent years. The show is broadcast as part of BBC Two's afternoon schedule. It also appears as part of the early evening schedule for short runs, and sometimes appears on Saturday afternoons.

Oddities is a half-hour documentary/reality television program which follows the operation of an East Village, Manhattan shop which trades in antiques and other rarities. The show premiered on November 4, 2010, and airs on the Discovery Channel and its sister network, the Science Channel. Oddities focuses on the day-to-day operation of Obscura Antiques & Oddities, and stars co-owners Mike Zohn and Evan Michelson and buyer Ryan Matthew, with appearances by other employees and customers. The store's employees search flea markets, personal collections, auctions, and antique shows for unique and unusual artifacts. The series premiered on October 26, 2010 and features the auction house Gallery 63 in Sandy Springs, Georgia, located on Roswell Road immediately north of the Atlanta city limit. The auction house employees often rely on experts to appraise items of which historical background is provided to the viewer. Property Wars is an American reality television series that airs on the Discovery Channel and premiered on July 12, 2012. The second season was announced on December 18, 2012, with the season debut on January 10, 2013. Property Wars follows a group of men, located in Phoenix, Arizona, who bid to purchase foreclosed homes, without being able to look inside. In each episode, the main cast members group in front of the home to see what condition it is in while their bidder is on location at the auction for the home. Cast member John Ray filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy in October 2012, due to a delay in repaying a $600,000 loan.
