Q: Why can't I post comments?

A: Before you can post comments, you need to validate your email address. This helps us ensure that all users are real and that the quality of discussion is high.

When you signed up, we sent an email to the address you provided during registration. This email contains a link that you can click to validate your email address.

Please check your email's inbox for a message from us. If you don't see it in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folders as well. Sometimes, our validation emails might end up there.

If you still arent able to find it in your inbox. You can have the validation email resent to your email address by:

  1. First going into your accounts setting.
  2. Under email, click edit (you may change or use the same email here)
  3. Click resend verification link to have the validation link resent to your email address.

Once you have validated your email, you will be able to start posting. If you're still having trouble, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

Rules and guidelines for posting

  1. Be respectful: Treat others with respect and kindness. Avoid personal attacks, hate speech, or offensive language. Foster constructive and civil discussions.
  2. Stay on topic: Keep your comments relevant to the discussion or the content being discussed. Off-topic comments can disrupt the conversation and hinder meaningful exchanges. And will be removed.
  3. No spam or self-promotion: Refrain from posting repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional content. Maintaining the integrity of the discussion space is essential, and excessive self-promotion can be disruptive.
  4. Use appropriate language: Refrain from using profanity, vulgar language, or inappropriate content. Create a welcoming environment by using respectful and considerate language.
  5. Avoid misinformation: Provide accurate and reliable information in your comments. Fact-check your claims before posting to prevent the spread of misinformation or false information.
  6. Respect privacy: Do not share personal information about yourself or others in the comments section. Respect the privacy of individuals participating in the discussion.
  7. No trolling or harassment: Do not engage in trolling, bullying, or harassing behavior. Treat others with empathy and understanding, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
  8. No sharing personal information: Do not post personal or any other identifying information, such as your full name, address, telephone number, etc. Also, do not post any personal information about a third party.
  9. Report abuse or violations: If you come across comments that violate the rules or guidelines, report them to the moderators or administrators. Help maintain a healthy and safe environment by reporting any instances of abuse or rule violations.
  10. Avoid sensitive topics: This includes but is not limited to, politics, religion, sexual orientation, racism, and sexism.
  11. Moderation rights: Understand that moderators have the authority to remove or edit comments that violate the rules. Their role is to enforce the guidelines consistently and fairly for the benefit of the community.

Report a post

  1. Spam: Covers any posts or comments that are unsolicited, repetitive, or irrelevant to the movie-related discussions on your site.
  2. Offensive or Hate Speech: Encompasses any content that is discriminatory, harassing, threatening, or promotes hate speech based on factors such as race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
  3. Violence or Graphic Content: This covers posts or comments that contain explicit violence, gore, or graphic imagery that may be disturbing or inappropriate for users.
  4. Inappropriate Language or Content: This applies to posts or comments that contain profanity, explicit sexual content, or any other content that is deemed inappropriate for your platform.
  5. Personal Attacks or Bullying: TThis covers instances where a user is targeting another user with personal attacks, insults, or bullying behavior.
  6. Misinformation or Fake News: This covers posts or comments that spreads false information or deliberately misleads other users.
  7. Copyright or Intellectual Property Infringement: This addresses cases where a user is sharing copyrighted material without permission, such as unauthorized movie clips, images, or text.
  8. Impersonation: Suitable for reporting cases where a user is pretending to be someone else, such as impersonating a famous actor or director.
  9. Privacy Violation: This covers situations where a user's personal information is shared without their consent, including but not limited to real names, contact details, or sensitive data.
