Alborada is a telenovela made by the Mexican TV network Televisa. It is an historical drama, set in colonial Panama and Mexico a few years before Mexican Independence from Spain. The series was broadcast from December 2005 to April 2006 on Univision in the United States. Alborada won the TV y Novelas award for best telenovela of the year.

Gata Salvaje is a telenovela which aired first on Venevisión in Venezuela on May 16, 2002 and some days later was released on the Spanish language U.S. station Univision from mid-summer of 2002 until May 2003, and later aired in Mexico on El Canal De Las Estrellas from January 2003 to December 2003. It starred, Mexican actress Marlene Favela and Cuban actor Mario Cimarro. This telenovela marked a milestone in the history of Spanish language television, for it became the first and to date the only telenovela ever to be filmed in the United States and later released in Mexico, in contrast to the original process in which they are filmed in Mexico and then later are released in the United States. Also, this is one of two telenovelas starring Marlene Favela and Mario Cimarro as the main protagonists, the other being Los Herederos Del Monte, airing in Telemundo from 2011.

The program became an unexpected success, garnering ratings in excess of 30 points. Starring Victoria Ruffo and César Évora, who last appeared together in 2000's Abrázame muy fuerte, La madrastra tells the story of María, a woman who lost twenty years of her life after being falsely accused of murder and who returns to Mexico to exact revenge on her husband and friends who abandoned her and to see her beloved children once more. La Madrastra is fourth in a series of remakes of the 1981 Chilean production of the same name. The program aired five nights a week, Monday through Friday, at 9 pm for 25 weeks. A follow-up special, La madrastra: años después, aired shortly after the finale on 30 July 2005.

La Fea más Bella stars popular actress/singer/comedian Angélica Vale and actor/singer Jaime Camil, with one of the most diverse and popular supporting casts ever assembled in Mexico, including Angélica María, José José, Sergio Mayer, Elizabeth Álvarez, Patricia Navidad and many others. Univision broadcast 2 hour episodes of La Fea Más Bella from September 13, 2010 to April 15, 2011 La Fea Más Bella also won the TV y Novelas award for best telenovela of the year. Quinceañera, is a Mexican telenovela, produced by and broadcast on Televisa in 1987, starring Adela Noriega and Thalía. Quinceañera was the first telenovela to talk about substance abuse, date rape and gangs, and is considered to be the first telenovela made for teenagers. Quinceañera was named by the Associated Press as one of the ten most influential telenovelas ever to air in Latin America, and Univision tlnovelas viewers named it one of their all-time favorite Mexican telenovelas. In 2010, Quinceañera was placed #7 on the People en Español's "20 Best Telenovelas" list, and in 2012, Terra named it as one of the fifty best telenovelas of all-time.

Llena de amor is a Mexican Spanish-language soap opera, produced by Televisa, that began airing in 2010. It is a remake of the 2002–2003 Venezuelan telenovela Mi Gorda Bella, which itself was inspired by the 1999–2001 Colombian telenovela Yo soy Betty, la fea. Llena de amor is about Marianela, an overweight girl, played by Ariadne Díaz, who is caught up in a set of family intrigues when she moves in with her aunt and uncle after becoming an orphan. The show premiered on May 3, 2010 in Mexico. It is produced by Angelli Nesma Medina. It formally aired in the United States on Univision at 7pm/6pm central from August 9, 2010 to April 19, 2011, replacing Mi Pecado.
