Fairbanks, Alaska is home to some of the harshest weather conditions in North America, making roadways impassible in only a matter of minutes. When motorists become stranded, three towing companies are called on to pull them to safety: Borealis, Ron's and Lucky 7. These three teams have worked through the worst that nature can throw at them, but with snowfall capable of topping 12 feet and temperatures that drop as low as 60 degrees below zero, every rescue attempt comes with a high-degree of risk. Only the strong can survive, Alaska's brutal winter. Are these teams up to the challenge?

Persuading a local team of his confidence that the abandoned team would still be alive, he set out again to find them. After almost 2 years trapped on the ice, all members of the crew were finally rescued.

In addition, one of his primary employees is working against him. One of his airplanes is transporting a cargo of gold and the pilot arranges for the gold to be stolen. He planned to parachute to safety, letting the airplane be looted when it crashed, but a co-worker cuts his parachute cord and he is killed. O'Rourke, with the air of one of his best pilots, Kay Cameron, sets out to track down the culprits.

Of course, she is rejected by the corporation executives. She recruits the pilot to try to aid her, but with no success.
