When Shanker is killed, Mohan swears to avenge his father's death and begins the trek of locating and killing Ajay.

But once his grandmother, who returns from her Teerdha Yatra, upon being informed by the family poojari that Murari is the one who would be subjected to death by Devi this year, refuses for the marriage.

The Padma Boatman
Based on the timeless literary work by Manik Bandyopadhyay, Padma Nadir Majhi was directed by Gautam Ghosh. The movie illustrates the tumultuous lives of the fishermen and their families, living by the river Padma. Beautiful shots of the river, Ghosh's flair for realism and brilliant display of acting skills by noted actors of Bangladesh and West Bengal, including Utpal Dutt, Robi Ghosh, Abul Khayer, Raisul Islam Asad, Champa, and Rupa Ganguli, fetched the movie local and international honours.
Season's Greeting
A mother and daughter relationship, set in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The 45 minute film is about Romita (Celina Jaitly Haag) who decides to introduce her live-in partner Usmaan "Azhar Khan" to her mother Suchitra "Lillette Dubey" who stays in a bungalow with her maid Chapala "Shree Ghatak". On a September noon, they visit Suchitra, a lady who lives alone after being separated from her husband. Ironically, she lives in a house 'Utsab' (meaning Festival) but she is lonely, often lost in her thoughts. Music is her only companion since her daughter travels due to work assignments and stays in a different city. Daughter's home coming is always celebrated in Bengal, just like Durga Puja.

Raghuvir is a career criminal, and one day he is arrested by the Police, tried in Court, and sentenced to a long prison term. Shortly thereafter, he breaks out of prison, goes to the Judge who sentenced him, kills him, his wife, three sons, and two daughters. Twenty years later, Dilip, who lives a wealthy and care-free lifestyle with his widowed dad, Karamchand, is told that he has been adopted, and the person responsible for killing his dad, mom, and siblings, is Raghuvir whose body has never been found. Dilip gives up his care-free existence, takes the assistance of his friend, Ram, and goes to look for Raghuvir. What Dilip does not know is that Raghuvir is none other than Ram's father, who has been missing for 20 years.
