Degrassi Junior High
Degrassi Junior High is a Canadian CBC Television teen drama series that was produced from 1987-1989 as part of the Degrassi series. The show followed the lives of a group of students attending the titular fictional school. Many episodes tackled difficult topics such as drug use, child abuse, teenage pregnancy, homosexuality, homophobia, racism, and divorce, and the series was acclaimed for its sensitive and realistic portrayal of the challenges of teenage life. The cast comprised mainly non-professional actors, which added to the show's sense of realism. The series featured many of the same actors who had starred on The Kids of Degrassi Street a few years earlier, including Stacie Mistysyn, Neil Hope, Anais Granofsky, Sarah Charlesworth and others. However, their character names and family situations had been changed, so Degrassi Junior High cannot, therefore, be considered a direct spinoff. The legal counsel for all the episodes was Stephen Stohn who later became the executive producer of Degrassi: The Next Generation. The series was filmed at the unused Vincent Massey Public School in Etobicoke, Ontario.

From conjoined twins to dwarfs, giants and hairiness, Leroi explores the extraordinary variety that the human genome can throw up. His journey takes him from the person, via all manner of scientific experiments, to the minute mutated molecule that is the cause of their condition. Forgetting the weird and wonderful for a moment, Leroi has another more serious point – we all are mutants, every last one of us. If we weren't we'd all be clones of each other, a world full of identical twins, and how weird would that be? Being a mutant is what makes me, me, and you, you. It's what makes us unique, special and different.

Invisible Killers
INVISIBLE KILLERS, a three-part documentary series, looks at how viruses have shaped our health and history, the biological and social impact they have on our global society, and the incredible science that has arisen to combat them. Each of the episodes will focus on an individual virus, reaching back to tell the history of that virus, and looking closely at the state of the research and technology surrounding the disease today. Influenza, smallpox, and ebola are among the three most lethal viruses ever to have plagued mankind. Each has taken a devastatingly large toll on the human population. Smallpox killed more people than all the wars in human history, and we are just one test tube away from biomedical warfare.
