Cut off from civilisation, a single mother puts her children on high alert when they bring home a young girl caked in clay. She tells of spirits and spirit hunters, but these are not mere superstitions. As more strangers show up on her doorstep, she quickly finds another reason to fear the forest.

"Jangan Pandang Belakang Congkak" tells the story of three youths who each received a letter from the late Pak Sudir inviting them to his house. Upon arrival, they met up with Pak Sudir's helper Mustika and discovered that he was their grandfather and the three of them have the potential to inherit all of his belongings, but under strict circumstances. They would have to stay at his house for three days straight without touching anything, especially an old congkak. On the first night itself, strange things begin to happen.

Directed by Ahmad Idham, the film is about four middle-aged friends who share the same interest, which is riding motorcycles. The film follows the journey of these four old-school riders as they compete in motorcycle races.

Hafiz, a Malaysian Coast Guard officer, is celebrating his engagement at a beach resort with his fiancee. Out of nowhere, a group of terrorists hijack the hotel and kidnap his fiancee and her family. After the success of Pontianak, Balakrishna Narayana Rao (B. N. Rao) directed and released a sequel to his horror film – Dendam Pontianak. It came out in the same year as Pontianak, and Menado reprised her role in this sequel.
