At the same time the police do a raid of the hotel , and find the two of them. In order to avoid trouble Mukesh and Shobhana pretend in front of the police that they are lovers , who were about to commit suicide since there families don't support their marriage. The police takes them to the station and sets up a register marriage at the station. Mukesh and Shobhana are forced to go along with the setup to avoid more trouble. After they leave the station Shobhana disappears , and Mukesh tries looking for her. How they meet again through fate makes up rest of the story.

But they have to reach their destination while the other passengers know Rajah as no one else but Mr. Iyer.

Little Orphant Annie

Annie, left orphaned after the death of her mother, goes to live in an orphanage where she tells her fellow orphans stories of ghosts and goblins. She tells stories of how the goblins will take away the children if they are not good. Each story she tells is illustrated. War breaks out and Dave, who Annie adores, enlists. Uncle Thomp, hearing that Dave has been killed in action, takes pleasure in telling Annie the news. Broken-hearted, Annie falls ill and dies in bed, surrounded by family.

Seventeeners

Hari and Deepa enter a classroom on a Saturday evening after the classes are over. The two 17-years-olds appear to make a video as they indulge in intimacy off-screen. Monday morning, the two are summoned to the principal's office and are told that their video is now on the internet. Their parents are called and given the news of rustication, pending committee decision whether to expel or retain them. The two families are devastated by the news, as they try to pick up the pieces and move forward. At the committee meeting, chaired by the principal, they discuss the fate of Hari and Deepa. Owing to past incidents of misdemeanor, the committee, with the exception of physical trainer Abdul, vote to expel Deepa and retain Hari. But Abdul brings up the caste angle to it. While Hari is a Brahmin boy, Deepa is a Dalit and the issue takes a dramatic turn, leading to irreversible changes in the lives of the stake holders.
