Nashville Star

Nashville Star is an American reality television program. It was last produced and transmitted during mid-2008 on NBC, following five seasons on USA Network. It premiered on March 8, 2003, and its five seasons on USA made it the longest-running competition series on cable television. In Canada, the show aired on CMT through season 5, but moved to E! beginning with season 6. CMT in the United States reaired each episode in season 6. It was similar to American Idol, in that performers had to sing to impress both celebrity judges and the public via call-in and/or internet votes. Unlike American Idol, however, the performers were limited to country music. This restriction was relaxed for Season 6, allowing for the finalists to choose from many genres of music, but the songs were arranged to maintain a country sound. On March 13, 2009, it was confirmed that the series had been canceled by NBC and would not be returning for a seventh season.

The Face UK

A talent search event that produced a boy band in 2019 through the Mnet television channel. This is the 4th season of the Produce 101 franchise. Viewers (referred to as 'national producers') voted online for 11 members from 101 participants from various entertainment companies and individual participants in several elimination rounds. The group concept, group name and debut song are also determined by the audience.

Ma-Ha is a member of girl group Teaparty. The other members are Ri-A and Hyun-Ji. Since their debut, they haven't achieved much success. Ma-ha wants to catch the attention of viewers. Meanwhile, Kwon Ryeok is member of popular boy band Shax. He is well liked and is good at singing, dancing, and acting. He is also focused on maintaining his success. He doesn't like Ma-Ha, who imitates the appearance of popular singer Ri-Ma. During the TV program, Hyeok from boy band Shax gets injured due to Ma-Ha. Kwon Ryeok bursts out with anger at Ma-Ha. She also receives hate from other people. Ma-Ha doesn't want to see Kwon Ryeok anymore, but they cross paths on TV programs and while performing in a drama series.

The One: Making a Music Star

The One: Making a Music Star is an American reality television series that aired in July 2006 on ABC in the United States, and CBC Television in Canada. The show was hosted by George Stroumboulopoulos, the host of CBC's The Hour. It was advertised as being superior to American Idol and Rock Star with the twist that contestants "live together in a fully functioning music academy", with their actions documented similar to the Big Brother format. Reportedly the most expensive summer series in the history of the ABC network, its first episode, on July 18, 2006, scored the lowest audience ever for a premiere episode on a major U.S. broadcast network, with an estimated 3.08 million viewers. Subsequent episodes had even fewer viewers. The series was cancelled after two weeks with the final results undecided on July 27, 2006. The show's website proclaimed "there are no plans for additional episodes".
