This film examines the reasons why the United States decided to engage in the Korean War. Scenes describe Russia's attempt to gain power following World War II (Korea included), and its refusal to allow free elections in the country. Footage shows Soviet-backed North Korean troops' movement into South Korea on June 25, 1950, the United Nations' response, and the armed struggle against both North Korean and later Chinese troops led by General Douglas MacArthur.

An unexplained, local split in the atmosphere causes a series of total unpredictable, yet devastating tornadoes. Rookie fireman Brian Flynn gets trapped in the underground sewage with his girlfriend, deputy mayor James 'Jim' Lawrence and climatologist Dr. Cassie Lawrence's niece Lori. Mayor Leonardo of New York initially refuses to pay proper attention to the phenomenon, a 'reelection threat', so the alert status remains too low for long. Atypical lightning discovered inside tornadoes adds unprecedented dangers. The Lawrences and aeronautics renegade Dr. Lars Liggenhorn conceive a possible solution by launching rockets, but NASA's Dr. Quinn overrules them, imposing standard silver iodine.

From 1973, it's a Turkish Batman and Robin ignoring a Commissioner Gordon type before fighting a Blofeld-esque villain (bald, strokes cat) while spending their downtime in strip clubs! Yep, there's more nudity in this film than every other Batman movie combined, which admittedly isn't much but we'll take what we can get. For some reason the dynamic duo sometimes have capes and sometimes don't. In one scene Batman even picks up a gun and shoots a couple of bad guys before tucking the gun into his belt. You won't see that in the comics. This time no clips from other films (that I noticed anyway) but lots of music is lifted from elsewhere, including the James Bond theme.

The weakness of the film is that the director is not able to take enough distance from the events to give the story a more universal appeal. Av Zamani was screened at the Montreal World Film Festival 1988.

Cüneyt is hired by some wise guy named Beyefendi (Gentleman) to rescue a Professor who has found side-effectless synthetic painkiller. Cüneyt also calls his old friends Aytekin and Aykut to rescue the Professor with him. Three old friends take action after working on the rescue plan for a while. The team quickly rescues the Professor who was kept in a sheltered place. However, Beyefendi agrees with his rivals at the last minute and leaves the team to death. Three old friends must fight for their lives to get revenge.

A young girl named Aysecik lives on her parents' farm, when an animated tornado carries her and her dog Banju in their house to Rüyalar Ulkesinde (Dreamland). Seven Cüceler (dwarfs) (dressed like MGM Munchkin soldiers, only red and white) who assist the Good Witch of the North appear at various times to help. She meets a Scarecrow, an Iron Woodman, and a Cowardly Lion, and dances to music from what appears to be an invisible radio. They encounter fighting trees, a river, and a country of China dolls on their way to the Wizard, a ball of fire who sends them after the Wicked Witch who enslaves them. When the Wizard is unable to help Aysecik get home, they must journey again for help, encountering the China Country once more, and a legion of hammer-throwing cavemen.

Not long ago the people of an unnamed country were involved in a civil war. After the armistice, both sides noticed hundreds of bodies unaccounted for. Looking through their land, there was discovered a place where men would vanish from sight. Those who returned spoke of a zone governed by cruel logic. This place, dubbed The Ulterior, was closed off and a guard was placed at its entry. The curious have found their way to its borders believing it holds healing properties and that it can reunite the living and the dead.

Baltimore is based on actual events that took place on the 26 April 1974 when Rose Dugdale and three comrades carried out an armed raid on Russborough House, Wicklow, in which 19 masterpieces were stolen in an effort to support the IRA’s armed struggle. The film plays out over the course of the days following the raid, when Rose is in hiding in a remote cottage.

Sophie is a troubled young girl, haunted by the abuse she suffered as a child and harbouring a deep fascination with the unexplained. In the hope of satiating her obsession with the latter, she instigates a trip to the Welsh countryside with four friends, aimed at tracking down the legendary Beast of Bodmin. A family on vacation stops at a roadside restaurant where a gang of criminals are holding the employees hostage. When one of the hostages tries to enlist their help, the family is added to the group. Disagreements on how the hostages should be treated leads to dissent among the criminals, who are awaiting the arrival of their leader. (The leader, for unexplained reasons, has all the stolen money.) Some hostages are killed; when the leader arrives, the hostages overpower them and free themselves.
