André returns to the village periodically and finally asks Vroni to go away with him. She refuses, and he writes her an angry note. That evening, Vroni and André are involved in a toboggan accident; Vroni is killed outright, and André is fatally injured. Moser finds André's note and goes to him, demanding of the dying man to know which of the boys is in fact André's child. Thinking to protect his own son, André informs Moser that Moser's own son is his (André's) son. Moser swears vengeance on the child but relents when he realizes that he loves both boys equally.

Franklin and Friends is a Canadian CGI children's television series produced by Nelvana that is a reboot of the original Franklin series. The Future is Wild is an animated children's version of Canadian 2003 joint Animal Planet/ORF and ZDF co-production The Future Is Wild. It was developed by Nelvana Animation, and directed by Mike Fallows, with characters and creatures designed by Brett Jubinville. It is made in CGI animation. The show is a Teletoon Original Production and first aired on Teletoon on June 28, 2010; it made its debut in the US on Discovery Kids on October 13, 2007. It now airs weekday mornings on The Hub. It features four teenagers who study the future of the earth to find a new habitat for humanity, while learning about the futuristic creatures who inhabit it. The show ran for one 26 episode season. It utilizes creatures speculated about in a the original version of The Future Is Wild, albeit with highly fictionalized elements.

The cast is rounded out by Grit, a sarcastic robot, and Rocco, a talking cat, both of whom Ben has also inherited from his grandfather.

The show's format is that of a surprise renovation; a family member or loved one contacts the show to arrange a 'facelift' of a part of the home for the unsuspecting target. By taking advantage of the target's absence, the 'Facelift team' moves in for the duration to renovate as quickly as possible. Monty Halls' Great Escape is a British television programme broadcast on BBC Two from 1 March 2009. Marine biologist Monty Halls escapes from the city to be a crofter in Applecross in the west of Scotland. In five episodes, Halls converts a down-trodden cattle shed - "beachcomber cottage" - into a small self-supporting farm, whilst documenting the local wildlife and society. A second series, Monty Halls' Great Hebridean Escape began airing on 21 April 2010. In Australia, it aired as Monty Halls' Island Escape starting on 28 December 2012. "Monty Halls' Great Irish Escape" was first aired on 11 August 2011.
