Quarxs created between 1990 and 1993, was one of the earliest computer animated series. It predated ReBoot. Each episode was made in HDTV and no more than three minutes long. Only twelve episodes of the original series of 100 have been created. The title was meant to describe a common name on mysterious, omnipresent and invisible creatures that were bending the laws of Physics, biology, optics... Discovered by a CryptoBiologist researcher, the Quarxs are presented as being the only and last explanation of the imperfection of the world. Quarxs is the only fiction animated series by Maurice Benayoun, contemporary artist who dedicates his later work to media art. The series was conceived together with François Schuiten well known Belgian comic book designer. Quarxs has been widely awarded in international events and festivals such as SIGGRAPH, Imagina, Ars Electronica, ISEA, Images du Futur, Sitges, Tampere, International Monitor Awards… The series has been broadcast in more than 15 countries around the world. The Future is Wild is an animated children's version of Canadian 2003 joint Animal Planet/ORF and ZDF co-production The Future Is Wild. It was developed by Nelvana Animation, and directed by Mike Fallows, with characters and creatures designed by Brett Jubinville. It is made in CGI animation. The show is a Teletoon Original Production and first aired on Teletoon on June 28, 2010; it made its debut in the US on Discovery Kids on October 13, 2007. It now airs weekday mornings on The Hub. The New Adventures of Robin Hood is a 1997-1998 live action TV series on Turner Network Television. It was filmed in Vilnius, Lithuania and produced and distributed by Dune Productions, M6, and Warner Bros. International. The tone of the series resembled its contemporaries Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess. The premiere episode aired immediately after an episode of WCW Monday Nitro. A unique promotional effort took place between the two, with the Nitro main event -- Hulk Hogan vs The Giant—not beginning until two minutes before the show ended and then continuing and being broadcast in lieu of standard commercial breaks.
Flog It!
Flog It! is a television series broadcast on the BBC, presented by Paul Martin. The project combines the director Cinzia TH Torrini and screenwriter Peter Exacoustos after the success of the series Elisa di Rivombrosa.
