Wagon Wheels

A wagon train heads west from Independence, Mo., along the Oregon Trail, led by proud cowboy Clint Belmet. Along the way, the wagon train battles Indians led by Kenneth Murdock, a trapper who doesn't welcome competition for Oregon's lucrative fur trade. A sleep suspense thriller, from Vijay Anand (his directorial debut), Nau Do Gyarah is the story of Madan (Dev Anand) on his way to Bombay to inherit his uncle's estate. On the way, he picks Raksha (Kalpana Kartik), who has run away from home, rather than be married to a man she does not like. On reaching Bombay, Madan finds his uncle dead, and the estate taken over by Kuldeep, his aunt's nephew. The new will is missing. Madan has to find out, what really happened to his uncle and the missing second will. S. D. Burman's compositions embellish this fast paced and stylish thriller.

Rahi

After leaving British Army Ramesh joins a tea plantation as a supervisor, where he is required to harass Indians. Gradually his heart changes and falls in love with local girl and revolts against his British employer.

The Net

Jai Bhim Comrade

Dalits, in the Indian caste system, belong to the lowest social sphere and therefore they always endure discrimination as well as the violation of their Human Rights. Also known as “the untouchable,” this group was vindicated by Bihmrao Ambedkar, a Dalit who earned doctorate degrees abroad and fought for the emancipation of his people. In 1997 a statue made for honoring him was desecrated, unleashing the rage of the Dalit community; but instead of getting support by the authorities, ten persons were murdered. This documentary took 14 years to be made and it captures the music and poetry of this people, showing a tradition against superstition and religious bigotry that has strived since the times of Buda.

Jeet

India has finally won independence from British rule, and there are signs of progress among the population. One such sign of progress is in the village where two childhood sweethearts, namely Jeet and Vijay live. Vijay lives with his mom and brother Ratan. Ratan, who lives abroad, returns home to India, with all new ideas of progress and advancement. This is not met well with some of the villagers, including Jeet and Vijay themselves. Ratan overhears a conversation that Vijay is not his real brother, and asks Vijay to leave the house, despite of his mother's protests. Self-respecting Vijay leaves the house, and Ratan plans to marry Jeet, and schemes with some villagers that will revolutionize his plans for progress, and make Vijay the culprit.

Johny Mera Naam

Monu (Mohan) and Sonu (Sohan) are the two sons of a police inspector. The kids excel in boxing. Their father gets killed by a goon following orders from Ranjit (Premnath). Mohan kills the goon and takes refuge in a car boot. Years later Sohan goes on to become a CID officer called Sohan Kumar, who solves his cases taking up different guises. He takes the identity of Johny a petty thief and gets himself in Jail, befriends Heera (Jeevan) and goes to solve a case wooing Rekha (Hema) and finding the criminal.

Khel Khel Mein

Naive Ajay Anand (Rishi Kapoor) first few days in a hostel are marred by ragging and bullying at the hands of Vikram (Rakesh Roshan) and his friends. Eventually this leads to a fight, and then to a strong friendship between the two, and Ajay gets admitted to this group. Vikram's pastime is mainly playing practical jokes and tricks. One day they decide to play such a trick on Ghanshyamdas Johari (Jankidas), demanding a ransom of Rs.5000/- or else, and they use the name of "Black Cobra". They get the money, but Ghanshyamdas is killed the next day. The police are on their tracks, and so is the mysterious "Black Cobra", who is real, and not a figment of imagination. After being dishonorably discharged, he disappears from Suman and his father's lives. Years later, Suman enters a beauty contest and is crowned Miss India. She travels with her mom to Britain, where she meets with Ramdev.

Piravi

Raghu, the only son of Raghava Chakyar was born late for him. So he poured his entire love and affection on him. Raghu, studying in an engineering college in a far away city has to arrive at his home to attend the engagement ceremony of his only sister. But he doesn't. The father starts his endless wait for his son. He daily waits at the bus stop till the last bus from the town also returns. Raghava Chakyar comes to know from newspapers that Raghu was taken into custody by the Police for political reasons. He reaches the capital and meets the higher Police officials. But they pretended helpless as there is no proof that Raghu was taken into custody. Raghu's sister comes to understand that he probably would have died in police custody after being tortured, but cannot bear to tell this to her father. The old man's grip on reality slowly slips and he starts dreaming that his son is with him

Lootmaar

Indian Air Force pilot Bhagat lives with his wife, Raksha and a young son. While going to the bank one day, the family find that the bank is being held up. The bank-robbers panic at the arrival of the police, and fire randomly, killing Raksha instantly. Bhagat witnesses this horrific spectacle and is unable to do anything to save his wife. The robbers were masked, but one of them had a tear in his shoe and another was wearing a locket, very similar to the one worn by his wife. Bhagat's inquiries take him to the northernmost hilly regions of India, where he must confront the past, as well as seek out the elusive killers and bring them to justice, not knowing that in so doing he will be endangering the life of his son.

Plain-clothes Inspector Dharam Dev is hot on the tracks of notorious underworld don, Durgaprasad, alias "D.P." Hare Murari's and the others worst fears are realized when they find out that Prem has been speaking long distance with none other than the President of India. What follows is hilarious chaos as the officials come together to try and portray themselves as honest and law-abiding citizens.

In their clash, the Death in Russia theory also comes up.

The Tiger

The movie begins with the death of Varma a senior government official who was about to on the verge of making a major anti-corruption bust. The case is handed over to Chandrashekharan IPS who goes by the nickname of "The Tiger". A turning point comes in the movie when a TV journalist Suhara disappears along with her Cameraman. Chandrashekhar finds a link between both the cases and is out to catch the mysterious assassin who is responsible for the death of Varma.

Dhun comes from a wealthy and talented family and desires to see the world on his own. He sets upon this travel and on his journey comes upon an inn called Five Daughters, run by Pahar. Deciding to stay there for a while, he meets Pahar's daughters and falls in love with Pooja. Pooja reciprocates his love and both hope to get married. Just when their marriage is being planned, Pooja's family comes to learn that Dhun and Pooja are related.

Sazaa

Kamini (Shyama) runs over a young man (Dev Anand), who is seriously injured. Kamini visits him daily even while he is unconscious. When he recovers, she is attracted to him, and sets him up with employment with her dad Seth Mothumal's (Gope) business as a manager. He dines at Mothumal's house by Kamini, where he comes across a mute maid-servant named Asha (Nimmi). Asha is attracted to him, and he also feels attracted towards her, little knowing that his past has come to re-visit him in her form, and not knowing the changes it will bring to his life.

Teen Devian

Devdutt Anand works in a company selling musical instruments, and is always late for work, infuriating his boss, I.S. Johar. Things change for the better when Johar finds out that Devdutt has a talent for writing poems, and he gets Devdutt to write and even gets them published for him. While traveling home by bus, he meets with Nanda, who has come to live in his neighborhood, and both are attracted to each other. One night Devdutt comes to the assistance to Bollywood movie actress Kalpana when her car breaks down, she finds out he is a poet and both are attracted to each other. Devdutt is asked to deliver a piano to the palatial house of a wealthy woman named Simi alias Radha Rani. She too is impressed by Devutt's poems and invites him over to her house for a party, and again both are attracted to each other. Knowing fully well that he cannot marry three women in his country, a tortured and uncertain Devdutt must now make up his mind as who he wants as his life-partner.
