Music Station
MUSIC STATION (ミュージックステーション) is a popular weekly music variety show that has been on the air since 1986. It airs Fridays at 8pm on TV Asahi and usually has 5-8 J-Pop artists and groups as guests on each show. The two hosts: タモリ (Tamori) and Hironaka Ayaka chat with each artist for a couple minutes before they hit the stage and perform their latest song. The show also runs specials from time to time, along with a yearly 3+ hour (now 4) live performance bonanza around Christmas time called MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE. The show also features Ward E. Sexton as the english announcer voice for introducing the guests and announcing the CD Single Hit Ranking (usually every week) and CD Album Hit Ranking (usually every month). Sexton is known for providing voice over to the Resident Evil (called Bio Hazard in Japan) video game series.

Miyawaki Yohei was a professional wrestler, who opened his own tofu shop after his retirement. He always tried to get his daughter Sakura interested in Pro Wrestling, but she never cared for it. Then the day came when he unexpectedly died, and Sakura inherited his dojo and tofu shop. Yasagi Eiichirou claims Sakura's father died without having paid his debt to her and the only way Sakura can repay this debt is if she wins the WIP "World Idol Pro Wrestling" championship. Together with his father's assistant, Yokoyama Yui, she opens the dojo again and trains together with her friends and girls from school.

The Mobile Cop Jiban is a Japanese tokusatsu television series which serves as the 8th entry in the Metal Hero franchise, and the first series to have toy commercials that were filmed on Videotape. Produced by Toei and aired by TV Asahi in Japan from January 29, 1989 to January 28, 1990, it ran for 52 episodes and a feature movie aired on July 17, 1989. According to Toei's International Sales & Promotion Department, the series' English title can be referred to as Jiban. Created by Keita Amemiya, the premise for the series combines elements from the American film Robocop and the 1970s tokusatsu Robot Detective. The opening catchphrase of the series is: "This is the drama of a girl's and a young man's hearts which love people and protect justice."
