The "Irene" girl in the 'Tea for Two" musical romance
Perky young Nanette attempts to save the marriage of her uncle and aunt by untangling Uncle Jimmy from several innocent but ensnaring flirtations. Attempting one such unentanglement, Nanette enlists the help of theatrical producer Bill Trainor, who promptly falls in love with her. The same thing happens when artist Tom Gillespie is called on for help. But soon Uncle Jimmy's flirtations become too numerous, and Nanette's romances with Tom and Bill run into trouble. Will Uncle Jimmy's marriage survive, and will Nanette find happiness with Tom, Bill, or somebody else?

The Brief

Surviving Marriage

Without modern conveniences and with limited access to food and water, the husband and wife have to rely on each other to survive the challenging conditions, including when they take part in physical and emotional exercises designed by marriage counselors. Guiding viewers are clinical psychologist Dr. Colleen Long and family therapist Tom Kersting, who explain how the participants are faring during the often-volatile journey. On the final day, the couple decide if they want to remain married or call it quits.

This is the name with which Amanda began to call the profession of the two women, Sara and Calzones, who were the ones who offered her some protection upon arrival in such an unknown place. The need for money to protect her sisters and make them stay by her side and the desperation of not being able to get the means to do so lead Amanda to accept this kind of life to achieve it. However, on the day of her initiation, where she will be known under the nickname "Wild Flower", fate will lead her to become a woman of one man: "The wife of Don Rafael Urrieta"; a powerful and cruel man who keeps his wife, Catalina, locked in his farm in inhumane conditions for having been unfaithful. Don Rafael decides that "Flor" is only for him, but that exclusivity is only of body, because "Flor" reserves his heart for the man who someday makes her discover love.
