Science College Principal Tripathi is criticized by the college professors, as his younger brother Ajay failed the exam twice and fell behind by two years. He submits his poems for publication but is told that they are lacking. He falls in love with the beautiful Nikita (Mamta Kulkarni), the daughter of a wealthy industrialist.
