Vikram

Vikram is a 1986 Telugu film directed by V. Madhusudhana Rao, produced by Akkineni Venkat under the Annapurna Studios banner. Akkineni Nagarjuna and Sobhana played the lead roles and the music was composed by Chakravarthy. The film was a remake of the Hindi film Hero (1983) and it is the first debut of Akkineni Nagarjuna as a hero. The film was recorded as a Hit at the box office.

Raga

Majnu

Rajesh (Nagarjuna) is a racy youngster who falls in love with Alekhya (Rajani). The suspicion is something about the character of Alekhya and when Rajesh enquires about it, the latter gets furious. She questions Rajesh asking how can he suspect her by believing a friend’s word and also comes to a conclusion that his love is not worth of accepting. The impulsive natured Rajesh also finds her questioning arrogant and the couple breaks up. But the real trouble starts for Rajesh after Alekhya leaves him and he starts feeling sorry for his impulsive nature. Alekhya marries another guy (Sudhakar) shown by her parents and Rajesh is distraught. The rest of the story is about what would happen to Rajesh and whether Alekhya forgives him or not.

A few ill-minded people misinform emperor Taanisha (Nasseer) that Gopanna misused emperor’s money to construct temple. Meanwhile, Kabir Das confers Gopanna the title of Sri Ramadasu on the insistence of Lord Rama. The rest of the story is all about how Tanisha realizes his mistake and sets Sri Ramadasu free.
