A portrait of Swedish crime writer Stieg Trenter (1914 - 1967), born Stig Johansson, he started out by using the name Stieg Trenter as pseudonym but soon changed his name to this in real life as well. His first novel was "Ingen kan hejda döden" ("No One Can Stop Death"), published in 1943.

The boxing promoter Charlie returns from America to Sweden and needs to find a professional Swedish boxer for an upcoming fight. By chance Charlie watches Björn Harring fight off some hoodlums. A terrorist group with connections to the Middle East quickly admits responsibility for the murder. International press is all over the story, as are the police.
