Mayandi Kudumbathar (English: Mayandi's family) is a 2009 Indian Tamil film written and directed by Rasu Madhuravan, who directed Poomagal Oorvalam and Paandi previously. Starring 10 Tamil film directors, including Manivannan, Seeman, Tarun Gopi and Ponvannan, in lead and supporting roles. The film, scored by Sabesh-Murali and filmed by Balabharani, was released on 5 June 2009, going on to become successful at the box office.

Angaadi Theru (English: Market Street) is a 2010 Indian Tamil drama film written and directed by Vasanthabalan of Veyil fame, starring debutant Mahesh and Anjali in the lead roles. The film, the title of which refering to the Ranganathan Street in Chennai where the story plays, also features actress Sneha appearing in a cameo role as herself and music jointly composed by Vijay Antony and G. Dil-E-Nadaan (The Innocent Heart) is an Indian Hindi film directed by C.V. Sridhar, released in 1982. The film stars Rajesh Khanna in the main lead role as Anand and Shatrughan Sinha as his friend, as the second lead character of the film.[1] This film was remake of the 1978 Tamil film Ilamai Oonjal Aadukirathu, directed by C.V. Sridhar, where Kamal Hassan and Rajnikanth played the lead male roles. After the success of the Tamil version, C.V. Sridhar decided to remake it in Hindi and directed it himself.

Peruvazhiyambalam

Peruvazhiyambalam is a 1979 Malayalam film directed by P. Padmarajan based on his novel of the same name. It marked Padmarajan's directorial debut and the acting debut for Ashokan who plays the central character Raman. The film is an incisive examination of how violence or totalitarianism works in our society; it dealt with disturbing questions relating to masculinity and how people adore and dread it at the same time. The Hindu described this film as one of the finest films in Malayalam. It won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam. The film was included in IBN Live's list of 100 greatest Indian films of all time.

This was another grape wine for Sneha as this was completely a heroine centric film. Directed by Karu Pazhaniappan, was released on the eve of Pongal was a Sleeper hit at the box office.Sneha won many awards for her excellent performance in this movie.

Seedan (Tamil: சீடன்) (English: Disciple) is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Subramaniya Shiva. The film stars newcomer Unni Mukundan and Ananya of Naadodigal fame in the lead and features Dhanush in an extended guest appearance, while Suhasini, Sheela and Vivek appear in supporting roles. The film, a remake of the 2002 Malayalam hit film, Nandanam, released on 25 February 2011 to mixed reviews. The whole film is shot inside a palacial set created by art director Jacki. The whole house including the exterior and interior was built in Prasad Studios. After more than a few decades a full traditional house set is made for a Tamil film.

A Hindi remake titled Dharti starred Rajendra Kumar and Waheeda Rehman in the lead, along with Sivaji Ganesan in a cameo role.
