Phuong Ly, a poor, beautiful Vietnamese woman, falls in love with an attractive, kind and wealthy man who wants to take her hand in marriage. Her life is seemingly perfect until her boyfriend's mother purposefully sabotages their relationship. At one scene, they manage to trick a guy and put him to sleep and stole all his belongings, which included money. The sisters decided to go out to this fancy restaurant, and soon, met a young owner. The younger sister eventually fall in love with the young owner, even though the two sisters decided to kidnap him for ransom. However, in the end of the movie, karma happened to one of the sisters.

Mai

"Mai" revolves around the life of a beautiful woman named Mai (played by Phuong Anh Dao) with a very special fate. Because she works as a massage therapist, Mai often has to face scrutiny and judgment from those around her. And then Mai met Duong (Tuan Tran) - a romantic flower boy. Just as she thought she was no longer passionate about love and pursuing her own happiness, Mai's desire to live a new life arose when Duong attacked her without mercy. They give themselves moments of freedom, passion and full of laughter. Can that couple hold on to that happiness for a long time when life is often harsh and unfair? "Mai" - a psychological and emotional story mixed with lots of funny laughter with the heaviest investment among Tran Thanh's three films promises to bring the audience truly meaningful moments during the Tet season.
