Mowgli's Brothers is a 1976 television animated special created by legendary animator Chuck Jones. It is based from the first chapter of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book of the same name. The special was narrated by Roddy McDowall who does all the male characters in the film. It originally aired on CBS on February 11, 1976.

Babar is a Canadian/French/Japanese animated television series produced in Quebec, Canada by Nelvana Limited and The Clifford Ross Company. The Legend of Tarzan is an American animated television series created by The Walt Disney Company in 2001, based on the Tarzan character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The series aired on ABC from July 13 to September 7, 2002 as part of its "Disney's One Saturday Morning" lineup. It was initially meant as first original series though ultimately shunted to UPN's "Disney's One Too" lineup. Mokku of the Oak Tree, also known as Mokku Woody the Oak Tree, or Saban's Adventures of Pinocchio in the United States, is a 52 episode anime series by Tatsunoko Productions first aired on Fuji Television in 1972. The story is based on the novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Italian author Carlo Collodi. Unlike the more cheerful lighter tones of the Disney Version and Nippon Animation's version Piccolino no Bōken, this series has a distinctly sadistic darker theme and portrays the main character, Pinocchio, as suffering from constant physical and psychological abuse and freak accidents.

It stars a young man named Ryo Takatsuki, who at the beginning of the series believes that he was in an accident causing his right arm to be severed from his body. However, as the story progresses, it is revealed that he was actually a test subject for experiments involving genetics and an "ARMS" nanomachine implant, along with 3 other youths: Kei Karuma, Takeshi Tomoe, and Hayato Shingu. They all meet under strange circumstances and after many battles they set off on a journey to rescue Ryo's girlfriend Katsumi Akagi who is kidnapped by the Egrigori. The Egrigori are the creators of the ARMS technology.

Serendipity the Pink Dragon is a 26-episode anime TV series produced by NTV and Zuiyo which aired weekly from 1 July 1983 to 23 December 1983 in Japan. The series was based on the Serendipity books by Stephen Cosgrove. After a boy is shipwrecked on a deserted island, he finds a pink egg which hatches into the pink dragon Serendipity. The series follows their adventures on the island. A feature-length English dub consisting of episodes from the TV series, directed by Jim Terry, was released on home video in the United States in 1989 by Celebrity Home Entertainment. The boy's name was changed from Kōna to "Bobby" in the English version. The TV series itself has also been aired in France, as Biniky le Dragon Rose, in Italy as Rosaura and in Iran as Serendipity.
