Og så kan det nok være, at børnene skal til at være kreative for at lokke Fru Flinth ud på nye løjer frem for på museumsbesøg.

Based on a true story: Norwegian winter, 1915. Allan Thorsen er træt af sin kone, men han har svært ved at få sagt at han vil skilles. Derfor arrangerer han en skiferie, hvor hun skal blive forelsket i en anden mand, således at han kan slippe af med hende uden at han selv skal gøre noget. Hun finder da også en mand der er interesseret, men så bliver Allan jaloux og snart forsøger Allan at vinde sin kone tilbage. Sagen kompliceret dog af, at Allan elskerinde pludselig møder op på feriehotellet.

Vores lille by er en ganske almindelig samling af huse et tilfældigt sted i Danmark beboet af ganske almindelige mennesker. Ingenting af betydning er sket indenfor de sidste 100 år eller deromkring, byen sover sin Tornerosesøvn med ansigtet vendt mod fjorden og ryggen mod det lave land, da alle tiders uvejr trækker ubemærket hen over dem, såsom tordenbyger og sommerskyer højt, højt oppe. Til denne by ankommer en dag en landstryger som er ret ualmindelig, Laust (Carl Ottosen) kalder han sig han har ikke ligefrem tænkt sig at blive hængende i byen, men er kun tilfældigt drevet denne her vej under sin lange søgen efter et sted og nogle mennesker han kan knytte sin skæbne til.

Tre enfoldige fisker-brødre nyder livet. De får hjælp af den unge pige Sus, der styrer hus og hjælper til på fiskekutteren. Da brødrene får et godt tilbud om at låne penge til Hotel slår de straks til. Der er dog den skumle entreprenør Gravenkop de låner pengene af. Samtidig bliver der smuglet til byen; billig sprut er i omløb. Sus forsøger sammen med sin ven Stille at opklare forbrydelsen.

Præsten på Snarø, Adam Valerius, er enkemand på tredje år, og frøkenerne i sognet står i kø for at blive den næste præstefrue. Men da Adams enlige husholderske pludselig bliver gravid, går snakken i det lille samfund, og snart bliver biskoppen tilkaldt. Ved et skæbnens puds bliver den københavnske skuespiller Emil Flor, som er på vej til øen, forvekslet med biskoppen, og han lever sig ind i rollen og løser elegant konflikten. Men så dukker den rigtige biskop op… Hele Danmarks Ib Schønberg var her, der og alle vegne i dansk film i 1940'erne. Men det var i denne komedie af Emanuel Gregers, at han oplevede sin karrieres største komediesucces. I ”Biskoppen”, som blev indspillet midt i besættelsestiden, er han den forfængelige skuespiller Flor, der griber chancen, da den rigtige ”rolle” byder sig. Og som desværre bliver i rollen til efter tæppefald!

English colonists arriving on Roanoke Island in 1587 find the fort built years before deserted. Soon after, members of the colony begin to die in horrible ways. Before returning to England for provisions, leader John White puts his son-in-law Ananais Dare in charge, and Dare realizes the island is haunted by Norse spirits. Enlisting the aid of a friendly Native American, Dare attempts to free the spirits from their earthly captivity before the entire colony is lost.

Sylvia Grøn lægger sine sparepenge i hans rejsende teater, men det går dårligt for teatret. Billedet af Herman Sander falmer også efterhånden som tiden går. Sylvias gamle elev, Eva Kristoffersen, søger tilflugt i teatertruppen. Hun er hemmeligt forelsket i komponisten Henrik Brandt. Lige inden nøglen må drejes om for teatergruppen får Sylvia en ide. Henrik Brandt har skrevet et teaterstykke og det vil hun sætte op.
