The plot revolves with Raicharan's tragic life. He is the obedient servant of local zamindar and takes care of zamindar's son whom he addresses as Khokababu. One day the little son dies in an accident in river flood and he is blamed for the same. In a delusional state, Raicharan starts believing his own infant to be his much loved khokababu and brought him up only to return him to his master.

Nauker
Widower Amar is well-off financially and lives in a house with his daughter and servant Dayal. His sister and brother-in-law want him to marry again so that his daughter can have the love and care of a woman. Amar reluctantly agrees. Together they set out to check out two sisters, Shobha, and Sheela. Amar goes as Dayal, and Dayal goes as Amar, as Amar is not sure if a step-mother will be able to bestow care and love as a real mother. They arrive at the household of Durga, Shanti Swarup, Renu, Sheela, and their servant Geeta. They begin to settle down, Dayal in a spacious room, and Amar in the servant's quarters, which consists of an untidy room with no electricity. It is not long before Amar finds out that he is attracted to Geeta, and not to the two sisters, but in his present state, he cannot reveal himself and openly propose marriage. In the meantime, Durga starts getting suspicious about Amar and starts wondering if Amar is actually a servant or a crook.

Soman is brought up by his elder brother Raju and his shrewish wife Janu. Soman is in love with Lakshmi, the daughter of a poor village performer Kaniyan who belongs to a lower caste. Raju, employed by the zamindar and Janu resent the inter-caste marriage between Soman and Lakshmi.

When drifter Tony Fitzjohn arrives to work for the old men he initially takes poorly to the task, almost savaged by a lion on his first day and on the verge of leaving when he hears that his predecessor was killed in a similar incident. The arrival of a lion cub that Fitzjohn must care for and raise changes everything. Soon he finds himself helping the brothers in their fight to save lions - and, ultimately, the park itself - from the poachers, soldiers and corrupt government officials that threaten them.

Khoka with his super wit starts to obtain every luxury that a perfect office should have and starts to hoax Bhaiji. Problems occur when Khoka falls in love with Bhaiji's sister Pooja (Subhasree Ganguly). That's how our super-clever Chalu Cheez Khokababu takes the story ahead.
Bonku Babu
A hilarious comedy about a Bengali patriarch Banku Babu who dominates his entire household in completely averse to changes until he meets with an accident which results in about of amnesia. When a local promoter demands his ancestral house, Banku Babu denies and gets injured in a squabble, starting to behave strangely, sometimes like his matinee idol Rajesh Khanna.
Pilla Zamindar
PJ is the grandson of a wealthy zamindar and an irresponsible youngster who is spoilt by the pampering and excessive money. His grandfather writes a will with several conditions before he dies. He writes the will that PJ will inherit his entire wealth only if he completes his graduation as a common man without any luxeries. The rest of the story is all about how PJ learns about values and life as he achieves his goal.
Killer Flood: The Day the Dam Broke
When the dam in the town of Rutland starts to show signs of wear. David Powell, the architect who originally worked on the dam but was removed and who left town after he was black balled by Walker, the man who only cares about making a profit; returns. He insists that the dam be drained and inspected but Walker claims it would take too long and would be too costly. David goes to the dam and notices a few anomalies. He then tries to warn the deputy mayor who happens to be his estranged wife but out of anger she refuses to listen. Also David tries to reconnect with his son who resents his desertion.
Baro Bou
Tapan is a devout lover of honesty and integrity. He and his wife together does a lot of good for the society for example provide contracts to the jobless men in the neighbourhood. Tapan's wife, the Barobou of the house takes care of everyone at home. She also ensures that her brother-in-law gets a job in a company however does not reveal this to anyone. As Tapan's younger brother Swapan gets a job and marries the only daughter of his employer, he starts becoming an arrogant man. His wife, a divorcee, also turns out to be a woman of similar characteristics. She is not willing to keep her son from her previous marriage and therefore Barobou adopts him and takes care of him as her own son. The elder couple, soon lose their respect in the house when Tapan's company is shut down. However, the greatness to of the elderly couple is brought to light by Tapan's student and his sister. The younger brothers beg for forgiveness from the elder brother and the family is united once again
Semkhor
Diro belongs to the Samsa community in Semkhor. When Diro dies, his wife, who worked as an assistant mid-wife, takes care of their three children. She gets her only daughter Muri, aged just eleven, married to Dinar. Unfortunately, Muri dies after giving birth to a girl child. As per the custom of Semkhor, if a woman dies during child birth, the infant is buried alive along with the mother. But Diro’s wife protects Muri’s infant, indicating a new dawn in Semkhor.

Zamindar Surya Kishore Chowdhury is a kind-hearted man who loves playing chess and is a fantastic singer. While he cares for his estate and the people, he is careless towards his wife, Indu's feelings. Dr. Bijoy Chakrabarty, who was helped by the zamindar during his student days, lives in his palace and one day, he successfully executes his plot to murder the zamindar while coercing Indu to keep quiet. However, fate takes a different turn and in the cremation grounds, a monk saves the life of the zamindar, who returns to his estate no more as an aristocratic noble but as a monk at heart.

Brought in by chief of police Michael King, the group includes paranormal investigator Nick Groff, tech whiz Bill Hartley and "paranormal sensitive" Elizabeth Saint. Each episode of Ghosts starts with a 911 call from a resident experiencing a strange happening, such as the sighting of a headless woman or the appearance of a body floating down the river. The police then call Groff, Hartley and Saint, who rush to the scene to look for evidence of ghostly activity. Later on, they enlist the help of local historians and psychics to understand the occurrences.
The Story of Ming Lan

Wild River
A young field administrator for the TVA comes to rural Tennessee to oversee the building of a dam on the Tennessee River. He encounters opposition from the local people, in particular a farmer who objects to his employment (with pay) of local black laborers. Much of the plot revolves around the eviction of an elderly woman from her home on an island in the River, and the young man's love affair with that woman's widowed granddaughter.
