A computer engineer is kidnapped and tortured. Since then, his girlfriend senses he's no longer the same person, and becomes convinced that something supernatural is corrupting his soul. These tests are put into perspective when Chung's nemesis is freed from prison and immediately sets his sights on revenge...

Sammo and George Lam are partners in crime and they scam some triad big shot out of a load of money and decide to retire. Three years later they both receive letters from Stanley Fung, in which he informs them that he has proof of all their criminal activity and unless they do exactly what he says–he will turn it over to the cops. The King Boxer shares a name with two early 70's martial arts films, but shares a lot more with some later vintage films of the genre.
