Some of Taiwan’s best action actors provide excellent kung fu action.

The tale actually begins in Heaven, where the various gods are busy paving the way for a new emperor. The very basic facts of Zhu Yuanzhang’s life are ostensibly correct, but it takes a rather unexpected turn into traditional giant monster territory, with a Taoist priest summoning a gigantic red-haired ogre (amusingly referred to as ‘superman’ in the subtitles) to destroy our heroes, who are in turn rescued when a golden dragon (the animal manifestation of one of the deities from earlier in the film) rises from the ocean to do battle with said ogre

Fire Ball is a 2005 Taiwanese animated feature film made by Wang Film Productions and directed by Wong Tung.

Hsu Feng plays Shu Mei, the female assassin engaged to Ling Tien-yu, a swordsman played by Tien Peng. As they are fighting against the Mongolian army that is invading China, Shu Mei takes up a suicidal mission to assassinate the Mongolian chieftain. Again, Hsu Feng appears as a brave swordswoman in the film. In the beginning, she sacrifices her love life and then dressed in white, she fights with dual blades, chains and bare hands against the enemy. Hsu Feng not only shows great fighting skills but brings the character vividly to life. It is not surprising that she won Best Leading Actress at the 1976 Golden Horse Awards. Moreover, the impressive face-changing trick is seen in the film.

Great independent Kung Fu movie with James Nam, of 5 finger of death playing the good guy. Much like some of the better American Westerns of the 50's and 60's. Some very poignant scenes in this film, highly recommended!

Produced by Hsin Hwa Motion Picture Company in Hong Kong, it was shot in Taiwan and featured the local landscape. The credits show that renowned director Sung Tsun-shou worked as script supervisor on the production. The theme, “avenging the murder of one’s parents”, is typical of a traditional martial arts movie. Siao Fong-fong as a lovely young swordswoman in the film left a deep impression on countless fans.

Miranda, a mermaid obsessed internet personality known for her quirky makeup tutorials, has placed an ad for a production assistant. Todd, the first of many to respond, has been chosen for an interview. Miranda films the interview process under the premise that she’d like her audience to connect with the person she chooses as well. During the interview, things get stranger and stranger, and the day quickly unravels into something Todd could have never expected.

Ah Lei is the younger brother of Stone, a guitarist of Mayday. He is also the administrator of Mayday's fansite, in charge of replying to fan letters and emails. One day, he befriended a girl named Zhao Xuan through a chatroom. He told her that he's actually Ashin, the lead vocal of Mayday. She started writing letters to him, believing that he was Ashin. Finally, Xuan's peking opera group from school gets to leave Harbin and travel to Taiwan to perform. The two promised to meet in a library, but Ah Lei didn't have the courage to meet up with her. He decides to follow her around, but did not expect that she followed him back, and that she saw through his lies all along.

He invites her to join his commercial shooting and they fall in love with each other. The commercial's successful in Hong Kong and Chelsia becomes a star now. Chung's uncle urges Chung to invite Chelsia to come to Hong Kong and he does so. Woo suddenly comes up and requires to cooperate with Chung again but gets refused. Woo's mad then turns to cooperate with another directo Choi. However, she's not happy with Choi and still wants to go back to Chung.

A beautiful young unwed mother-to-be from Tainan arrives in Taipei city in search of the father is sidetracked by a smart-Aleck Hong Kong expatriate taxi driver who aids her search but eventually falls in love with the girl after her efforts to reunite with the absentee father prove fruitless.
