Dames at Sea is a musical with book and lyrics by George Haimsohn and Robin Miller and music by Jim Wise. The musical is a parody of large, flashy 1930s Busby Berkeley-style movie musicals in which a chorus girl, newly arrived off the bus from the Midwest to New York City, steps into a role on Broadway and becomes a star. It originally played Off-Off-Broadway in 1966 at the Caffe Cino and then played Off-Broadway, starring newcomer Bernadette Peters, beginning in 1968 for a successful run. The television version was broadcast on the Bell System Family Theater on NBC on November 15, 1971. The cast had extra chorus girls and boys, and there were full production numbers, turning into the very thing it was spoofing. Ann Miller was singled out for praise, especially when "she was allowed to tap out her brassy...temperamental star..."

Cheung Chi-ho (Simon Yam) makes a living by kidnapping the children of very rich people. However, he's a nice guy outside of 'work', even going so far as to help a little old lady cross the street as the film begins. Cheung Chi-ho is plotting to kidnap several adult sons of Chinese millionaires. Because of their vicious threats, most of these cases go unreported to the cops, and all goes well, until Cheung teams up with another big-time criminal, Cyclone. On their first job, the rich victim calls the police, and Cheung Chi-ho must strategize his next move against the police.

A group of police friends are investigating a suspicious fellow officer who might be involved in drugs and prostitution.

Raymond Lam stars as Rick, a successful architect who discovers he may have a forgotten past. He gets hit by a car while lost in thought over an advertisement featuring Angela Lok (Rain Li), a popular novelist. When he awakes, he finds he's lost his creative abilities. Only when he's near Angela does the spark return. So what does he do? He moves into her building, of course. However, it isn't that easy. Rick's current project is supposed to tear down Angela's apartment building, evicting her and the local residents (including Wong Yat-Fei and Wyman Wong). She fights him at first, but as you'd expect, her defenses wear down and the two become friends. Even more, Angela senses a hidden past between she and Rick, too. The two resolve to discover more about it, and along the way their feelings grow for one another.

A killer fails to assassinate his target and attempts to escape from pursuing bodyguards. With the help of a woman he runs into in the hotel, he is able to escape detection by pretending to be a gigolo. Later, he becomes a tenant in her house. Still believing him to be a gigolo, she dislikes him at first. However, they eventually fall in love and he reveals his true past to her. He gives up his life as a killer, but must face one final confrontation from a rival assassin out for revenge.

A portmanteau tale set in Sai Kung, consisting of three separate stories about love.
