Captain Epic, an up-and-coming superhero, is desperate to be adored by the idol-hungry public. In order to realize his glimpses of grandeur, he assembles an ad hoc team of heroes. His dream team consists of an attention disabled speedster, an absent-minded telepath, an unbelievably powerful Yoga nut, and a provocative but jaded secretary/sidekick. The unique band of heroes fights together to save the world, and Captain Epic inches closer and closer to his dream.

Returning to Paris after exile from Hollywood, Judith is intent of making a comeback with a new movie. However, her 16-year-old daughter falls in love with her much older dance teacher and Judith is forced to deal with personal ambition, maternal anxiety and the demons of her past with humor and disillusion.

The Wolfman Jack Show was a Canadian variety television series which aired on CBC Television from 1976 to 1977, and syndicated to stations in the US. Wolfman Jack, also known as Bob Smith, found his fame surged after his "appearance" in American Graffiti and hosting NBC's The Midnight Special. Co-produced by Jack's company and CBC in Vancouver, the show showcased Canadian and international rock acts, along with comedy from Danny Wells, Peter Cullen, Sally Sales, and the Famous People Players. Don Kelley served as executive producer, Riff Markowitz as producer, and Mark Warren as director.

After a successful Canadian run as Second City TV on Global and SCTV on CBC, the cast packed up and moved to America (theoretically) when NBC offered them a timeslot under the title SCTV Network 90. With them, they brought their unique, quirky characters, their personalities, and the shows they had appeared on. Dick Blasucci had begun writing for the cast in their second series, SCTV, and joined them here, serving as a recurring straight man for the characters. Tony Rosato and Robin Duke wrote scripts at the beginning of the show as they had before, until quickly leaving to write and perform for Saturday Night Live. The appeal of SCTV Network 90, however, doesn't only come from the writing, but from the sheer wit of its legendary stars.
