She also makes a new friend in handsome Man (Michael Tong), who may or may not be connected to her freaky visions. As the visions get more vivid, ultimate truths and possible revelations seem right around the corner. But will the biggest nightmare of all be Joe's increasingly unnerving jealousy?

Devil Touch

Office worker Amy goes berserk and tries to stab her boss, Cheuk, accusing him of sexual harassment and rape. The higher-ups accept Amy's description of the event and Cheuk is suspended, in spite of the fact that in-house lawyer Joe believes the man is innocent. He's right: Amy and scheming department head Jacquline are lovers and conspired to bring about Cheuk's downfall, giving Jacquline a better shot at becoming the new CEO. However, Joe and Jacquline used to be lovers and he knows her scheming and duplicitous nature all too well.

Sealed with a Kiss

Hong Kong filmmaker Derek Chiu directs this quiet romance that recalls the gentle style of Francois Truffaut. Young and attractive Mandy (Yo Yo Mung) flees the hustle of Hong Kong proper and a failed relationship for the bucolic quiet of Peng Chau, one of several dozen communities located on the former colony's outlying islands. There she stays in a rooming house with the mute and slightly slow Kam Shui (Louis Koo). In spite of herself, she falls for the misfit, much to the consternation of Angel (Siu Au), Kam Shui's tomboyish best friend who also harbors feelings for him. Chiu masterfully brings out the nuances of life on the island in this simple tale, simply told.

Anniversary

The story follows the 10th anniversary of Bo and Keung. In the ten years, the couple has gone through quite a number of ups and downs. After trying to develop his career in the mainland, Keung has returned to work in Hong Kong while Bo has stayed in Hong Kong to run a wedding consultancy firm. Bo firmly believes that love is forever and has witnessed over the years numerous sweet stories of love bearing fruits. However in private, the love between her and Keung has long turned bland. Keung wants to have children but Bo cannot care less. Once again, the couple is plunged into emotional ebb. Meanwhile, the betrayals years back begin to emerge again…

Girl with the Diamond Slipper

Two hopeless housebreaker brothers, Ah Chi and Fatty, steal a diamond that had already been earmarked by a criminal gang. Through a series of unfortunate and - frankly - unlikely events, the diamond ends up in the shoe of a rising star TV actress Cheung Man Ju. They pursue her all over Hong Kong until finally tracking her down at a charity ball where she must leave by midnight, and accidentally loses a shoe in the process.

A Fishy Story

An aspiring starlet arrives in the Fragrant Harbor with dreams of becoming a star, whilst striking up a friendship with a wannabe cabbie who lives in the same apartment building.

Chasing Girls

Afro-haired Robert demonstrates over and over to his gawking cousin how easy it is to pick up girls. Robert eventually narrows the field down to two girls. One is a TV model, the other a rich girl with a red sports car working as a waitress. Robert finds the part after the pickup to be a bit more difficult.

Let's Make Laugh

Heralded as the funniest Hong Kong comedy of the early 1980s, this was Shaw Brothers' most popular film of 1983. Alfred Cheung Kin-Ting (who created and produced Jackie Chan's "Highbinders") won the Hong Kong Film Best Screenplay Award for this delightful comedy of modern manners. Charlie's Bubble

Philip Chan made his solo directorial debut with a film based on his own adolescent fantasy, about a secondary school student who falls in love with his teacher. The teacher happens to be pregnant and, after the kid makes the vow to help her take care of the child, the father reappears to assume his responsibilities…Is teenage bubble going to burst? Chan had the foresight – or was it luck? – to hand over writing chores to Alfred Cheung, who turned the potentially controversial story into a script of nuanced emotions and morality while managing to avoid the sensational. Charlie's Bubble, which escaped critical attention in its initial release, is a work that deserves a second look.
