Deborah's thoughts of pursuing a relationship with Veg are dashed when she learns that he has a famous girlfriend, Mindy (she is television's "Eat Drink Warrior"). Nonetheless, Deborah and Veg become friends, and, after prompting from Veg's mother, Deborah decides to "fight for her love." Who will Veg choose?

Chasing Girls

Afro-haired Robert demonstrates over and over to his gawking cousin how easy it is to pick up girls. Robert eventually narrows the field down to two girls. One is a TV model, the other a rich girl with a red sports car working as a waitress. Robert finds the part after the pickup to be a bit more difficult.

Dream Lover

Popular Hong Kong actress Sharla Cheung actually produced two versions of this romantic seriocomedy -- starring in the second one, Romantic Dream -- and they both played theaters in the same month. Jacklyn Wu stars as Kitty, a beautiful and wealthy woman who becomes the ideal love of Cheung Kar-shing (Tony Leung), an inventor who participates in illegal road races in his spare time. Their relationship blossoms into romance, but when Kitty's father goes into hiding and leaves behind over ten million dollars in unpaid debt, she leaves Hong Kong without telling Cheung where she's going. Shortly thereafter, Cheung strikes it rich when he is paid ten million dollars by a Japanese computer firm for a chip he has invented, but money does little to relieve his aching despair in Kitty's absence.

Tears and Triumph

Sai Ming Jun (Anita Yuen) is a single mother who works as an office administrator. But when the company gets taken over, her road suddenly becomes an uphill one. The controlling family's son (Sean Lau Ching Wan) takes an immediate shine to her, and begins to woo her, but she resists. Things get worse when his half-brother (Frankie Lam) shows up. He happens to have a controlling interest in the company - and is the father of Ming Jun's child! Will Ming Jun be able to make it through this twisted maze of family politics and hidden agendas? And will she be able to find a true, honorable love?
