The Suzie in the title refers to The World Of Suzy Wong, a great novel by British author Richard Mason which was made into a terrible Hollywood movie in 1960. A Cantonese opera company is attacked by an army of ghosts, thanks to a feud between the dead grandfathers of one of the company's actresses and a young man.

Chung, Yam and Koo work for the same advertising agency. Chung is a philanderer. Yam lives with his girlfriend who is a TV reporter, requiring irregular working hours. Koo's wife puts a tight leash on his social activities and this makes him feel bored. The trio are going on a business trip to Korea on the expenses of the company. Tasteless comedy ensues.

When he's inexplicably hired as an image consultant by Shanghai millionaire Cheung (Ng), to spruce up his long-lost, street urchin daughter Ning (Wei), the scene is set for a fun ugly duckling tale in the tried and tested rom-com style.
