On the outskirts of Austin, 10-year-old Annie tears around on her BMX bike, hurls dough at cars, and smashes things up with her baseball bat. Her father, a goat-farmer-cum-demolition-derby driver, does little parenting. Annie has no friends her age, so her daily routine is filled with solitary mischief. Playing in the woods one day, she hears a woman’s plaintive call for help from an abandoned well. Though Annie feels driven to visit the well daily, she is unsure about how to deal with the woman’s plight.

Albert is being released from a psychatric hospital and goes back to his bavarian hometown. But the people don't accept him and they begin to treat him. The only way out for Albert is suicide.

In the days leading up to Christmas a young girl, Leah Carpenter, moves to a new city with her parents. While at Santa's workshop in the North Pole, Santa Clause is meeting with Shaily, the youngest fairy ever to be asked to help Santa keep track of all the children on the "Naughty and Nice" list. Shaily comes to visit Leah and the two become fast friends and although she knows it is against the rules, Shaily takes Leah into the fairy world where their new friendship is tested and their true adventure begins.

There is no plot. The thread that holds this full-length feature together is an animated hippie character who sits in his living room listening to a Los Angeles radio station while smoking marijuana. His “high” allows him to dream up all the images on-screen. Although the film is overly long and, for that reason, seems disconnected, the photography and art work (by Patrick) are quite enjoyable. The picture seems meant to be viewed by young people and might find appeal in selective showcasing. Anton Noel produced, directed and wrote the film, done in four-channel Quadrophonic sound. The kind-hearted but slightly awkward Dr. Eduard Frank is transferred to a girls' boarding school in Carinthia. He soon finds out that his upper class consists of a bunch of cheeky rebels led by the bright Princess Margret. With their pranks, the girls bring poor Dr. Frank to the brink of despair. Things seem pretty bad for a young girl living a "hard-knock life" in an orphanage. Fed up with the dastardly Miss Hannigan, Annie escapes the run-down orphanage determined to find her mom and dad. It's an adventure that takes her from the cold, mean streets of New York to the warm, comforting arms of bighearted billionaire Oliver Warbucks - with plenty of mischief and music in between.
