Before long, they run into rival classmates from other Kanto schools and find themselves confronted by Kyoto's best fighters. It's a battle of epic proportions. The prize being the card named "Messiah", the name of a saviour that was heard in a dream. At the same time, there were many incidents of units disappearing from Vanguard cards throughout the world. Aichi and Kai team up to a confront an enemy that threatens the peace they've just regained. The movie is a prequel to Legion, leading up to Aichi's disappearance.

Miyo "Muge" Sasaki is a peculiar second-year junior high student who has fallen in love with her classmate Kento Hinode. Muge resolutely pursues Kento every day, but he takes no notice of her. Nevertheless, while carrying a secret she can tell no one, Muge continues to pursue Kento. Muge discovers a magic mask that allows her to transform into a cat named Tarō. The magic lets Muge get close to Kento, but eventually it may also make her unable to transform back to a human.

She calls herself "a researcher traveling from the outer world to search for the 'Dragon Terminal'". At first, Ichirou rejects the girl, Satou Ryouko, because her behavior reminds him of his embarrassing past, but he changes his mind after seeing her getting bullied. In order to bring Ryouko back to real life, Ichirou accepts her and his past and begins the final battle as Maryuuin Kouga.

It's a new school year at the local Junior High School i Kamakura. The school year starts off with a new transfer student Ryoichi Kyogoku who joins the 8th grade class. He has been ordered to join the school, and use his special gift of telepathy and take over their school. This boy who happens to be handsome, and be a charismatic person, gains popularity, and using his powers takes over the entire school, except for Seki. This begins a war to regain their freedom for their school and themselves.

This double feature comprises of "Gunbuster" and "Diebuster" (aka "Gunbuster 2") condensed into a single theatrical release told in two parts with a musical intermission in between. The 95-minute "Aim for the Top! Gunbuster" movie is a compilation of the original 6-episode Gunbuster OVA, where man first meets the insect aliens and builds fighting robots and huge battleships to combat them. Takaya Noriko and Amano Kazumi lead the fight, doing massive damage to the insect's world. The 100-minute "Aim for the Top 2! Diebuster" movie completes the series, with country girl Nono leading the "Topless" fighters to protect Earth from the invading insects.

After a gymnastics accident leaves her paraplegic, 18-year-old Anna Morgan returns to high school. Because of time lost due to her injury and rehab, she is repeating her junior year, with her sister Beth. The film covers her adjustments to her new life, and her classmates' problems in dealing with her wheelchair. In a series of small vignettes, it also gives a picture of her family, good and bad, and her parents' efforts to support their kids while dealing with their own fears.

Ousai Academy was originally an all-girls high school. Due to the declining birth rates in recent years, it was converted into a co-ed school. The first year male students would find themselves surrounded by girls and unfortunately, Tsuda Takatoshi is one of them. Genesis – The Last Domino? follows Tony Banks, Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford and their crew as they build and rehearse their Last Domino tour. Finally he embarks on a journey to the Magic World together with his partners to find his long-lost father. This film is the climax to their adventures depicted in the Shiroki Tsubasa Ala Alba and Mou Hitotsu no Sekai OVAs.
