50 years after the Munich Massacre, Munich is hosting a soccer game between an Israeli and a German football club. When things start to fall apart, it seems history might be repeating all over again.

East Side follows Momi, an ex-Secret Service agent-turned-fixer who plays by his own rules as he brokers shady property deals between the Arab residents of East Jerusalem, and the powerful Jewish groups trying to take control of the area by whatever means possible. Brooding and well-connected, Momi slips between communities with ease. But behind his cool facade, the deadly consequences of his double-dealing are taking their toll, and at the center of his world is 18-year-old autistic daughter Maya.

The story follows Avi (Ben Sultan), a young man from the Tel Aviv suburb of Bat Yam, who finds himself embroiled in affairs with local Arabs from Jaffa. He joins the Israeli Border Police to settle scores with them, and quickly becomes an effective and respected police officer, while also falling in love with a border policewoman, who is a pacifist. But his past is constantly catching up with him to remind him that he will never change.

As a planetary apocalypse looms, a woman struggling to embrace end-times chaos searches for meaning in her last months on Earth.
