TV show

Starke man is a 2010 Swedish comedy series broadcast on SVT. The series focuses on local politics in Svinarp, a fictitious small municipality in the south of Sweden, which the press has branded the second-most boring municipality of Scania in the pilot episode. Much of the series revolves around Lars-Göran Bengtsson, the less-than competent social democrat mayor of Svinarp, who is usually saved from disaster by his disillusioned staff. Starke man was written by Wiktor Ericsson and Anders Jansson with Anders Jansson, Magnus Mark and Anna Blomberg in the main roles. The first episode was broadcast on 26 September 2010. When Olle Möller is charged 1959 for the murder of Rut Lind, it becomes Sweden's biggest murder trial of all time. The accused killer Olle Möller is Sweden's most hated man. On March 7, 1941, Möller was sentenced to ten years in prison for attempted rape, assault and manslaughter. He was released conditionally on September 11, 1948 after serving seven years and nine months of the ten-year sentence. Rut Lind disappeared May 26, 1959, and was later found murdered. The indictment against Olle Möller was entirely based on circumstantial evidence and testimony. The court disregarded testimony from Möller's wife and employer, who argued that Möller could not have had the opportunity to do the deed.

Sweden Democrats or Swedish Democrats (Swedish: Sverigedemokraterna, SD) is a national-conservative, populist political party in Sweden founded in 1988. The party describes itself as social conservative with a nationalist foundation. The party has been characterized by others as right-wing populist or far-right, national-conservative, and anti-immigration. Jimmie Åkesson has been party leader since 2005. The Sweden Democrats crossed the 4% threshold necessary for parliamentary representation for the first time in the 2010 general election, polling 5.7% and gaining 20 seats in the Riksdag/Parliament.
