Originally titled The Firestone Hour, it was first broadcast on the NBC Radio network on December 3, 1928 and was later also shown on television starting in 1949. The program was last broadcast in 1963.

Mike Land is a disgruntled ex-Los Angeles police officer who moves to a Mexican resort to work as a private investigator. With beautiful scenery as a backdrop, attractive Courtney is his boss and he occasionally enlists his buddies Willis and Dave in his cases.

Follow Blitzo (the 'o' is silent) as he attempts to run a startup killing company in a very competitive market, along with his weapons specialist Moxxie, his powerhouse Millie, and his receptionist hellhound Loona. With the help of an ancient book obtained by one of the princes of Hell, they manage to make their work possible and together they attempt to survive each other while trying to keep their business afloat.
