After the conclusion of the Battle City Tournament, deep below the sands of Egypt, an ancient evil has awakened. aka Aquarian Age: The Movie, is based on the popular Japanese CCG (that's collectable card game, for you gaming neophytes), Aquarian Age. The movie represents the transition between the game's first and second Sagas and seems to have been made primarily for fans of the card game, so familiarity with the basic story and characters is assumed. Those watching the movie without first reading the background info in the included booklet are going to be totally lost about what's going on, as the movie begins right in the middle of the climatic battle which wraps up the first Saga. Though it uses the same organizations as the Aquarian Age TV series, the movie does not seem to be directly related to the TV series in any way. (I cannot absolutely confirm this, however, since I only ever saw the first few episodes of the TV series.)

This movie is very different from the previous TV specials (Dragon Ball Z: Bardock - The Father of Goku and Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks), as it is a look back at what had happened in Dragon Ball Z in 1993. In this film, which is believed to take place some time around the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, Gohan and Goten are having a hot bath outside in the middle of winter. Goku (who is still dead) suddenly appears in front of his sons with the help of his Instant Transmission, and joins them in the tub. While there, the three Saiyans reflect back on the events that occurred during the Cell Games. Inside the house after Chi-Chi appeared, Goku tells his sons about Pikkon and the Other World Tournament. Later, the four members of the Son family appear dressed nicely. Gohan says that the adult division of the Tournament will begin this next year (in 1994), and the special comes to an end.

Aichi plays every day and he strives with all his soul and heart to play better, so when he battles Kai, Kai will recognize Aichi's worth.

New Century Zero takes place a long time after the events of Zoids: Chaotic Century. Mix Master is a Korea - Japan co-produced anime series based on the MMORPG, also known by the name Mix Master King of Cards. It is a co-production by Nippon Animation of Japan and Sunwoo Entertainment and KBS of Korea. The series aired on Cartoon Network in many Asian areas from Southeast Asia to South Korea and all of Asia between. The story centers on the fantasy and adventure card game, Mix Master. This anime series has many bearing similarities to Yu-Gi-Oh and Duel Masters.

Saikyo Kamizmode! (最響カミズモード) is a Japanese trading card game developed by Data Cardass themed through music, taiko and sumo. An anime series produced by Bandai Namco Pictures was announced on August 10, 2020 where it first premiered as an ONA on Bandai Namco's Youtube channel on September 28, 2020 before its actual TV premiere on Tokyo MX on October 9, 2020.

Its story is set in Aikatsu Planet, a world where everyone can become cute idols using an avatar. While spending school life, the main characters are aiming to become top idols. Everyday parts such as the main character's school life will be filmed in live-action, and the Aikatsu Planet! world will be drawn in anime and 3DCG (like the previous series). The live-action part's cast members will form a unit "STARRY PLANET*" and perform as idols at events and on YouTube. A new Data Carddass game linked to the TV series, "Data Carddass Aikatsu Planet!" is also scheduled to begin its service this winter.
