After the death of her father in Argentina, Elza returns to Brazil to see her remaining family. When visiting her mother's grave, she steals a flower off an unknown grave and put it in her mother's. After that, she begins to receive strange phone calls, from an unknown voice that claims: "Give back my flower!". She becomes terrified and obsessed with the stranger's voice, and starts believing that it's the spirit of the deceased.

Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish, also known simply as Destinos, is an educational television program created by Bill VanPatten, who was, at the time, Professor of Spanish and Second Language Acquisition at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. The show, designed to introduce viewers to the basics of Spanish, had two seasons, beginning in 1992. Its 52 episodes are often used for educational purposes in schools and are still broadcast regularly on many PBS stations, as well as many local channels. The two groups are the tomb raiders and the tomb protectors. The device Shuiyin received from Lian is called the Monolith, and it allows a normal gamer to go near the tomb. The tomb raiding group plans its attack by recruiting common people in the name of gaming. Shuiyin, as the final tomb protector, must fight against the raiders in order to save Lian.
