The show has won the Special Award for a TV program at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and the Frames 2004 for best Asian Production. The series aired in France from March 9, 2005 on Canal+.

In Haiti, the telenovela was a big success in January 2010 and was shown at 5PM. With typical Haitian humour, some say that Frijolito killed many people as the earthquake that shattered the island nation on January 12, 2010 occurred right before 5PM.

Decisiones' first aired on Telemundo from May 9 to August 8, 2005 with Candela Ferro hosting.
