Flash Gordon heads into space with brilliant scientist Dr. Zarkoff and his sweetheart Dale Arden in an effort to throw the planet Mongo off course; it is expected to crash into the Earth within a matter of days. However, once Flash and his crew arrive on Mongo, they have to deal with the supremely evil Ming the Merciless and his wicked minions.

Jerusalem is the first of four videos (followed by Sublimation [2003], Conjunction [2003] and The Pearl [2004]) exploring inter-dimensional travel. In this inaugural episode a group of young actors inhabit an empty apartment, their behavior taped and edited in-camera. An analog solarization technique captures their rituals of improvised dance, frozen poses and trimming of hair. Each cast member recounts painful personal life episodes that unfold like cheap sci-fi stories of otherworldly abductions, familial vanishings, strange dreams and reptilian passions.

Insomnia spreads in a small town, causing fear and panic. As the situation becomes dire, two couples find salvation on an abandoned ranch, but as nefarious characters descend upon the land, claiming it as their own, and chaos ensues.

A teenager wakes up near a cliff, injured and unable to remember how he got there. He is chained to a man in a suit and there is a gun gaffer-taped to each of their hands. An unknown person soon sends them shocking instructions of what they must do next, as the horror of the situation unfolds with nail-biting consequences.

Five teenagers frantically run for refuge down into a basement. They barricade themselves inside as they are being hunted down by an insane killer upstairs. The killer’s motive is unknown and the teenagers question why this is happening to them. With the killer holding vigil at the basement door, the teenagers soon realize they’re trapped, as the only way out is the very same way they got in. As events unfold, questions of their own sanity come to light and reality becomes distorted.
